The Edelweiss estate is a paradise for horse lovers of all ages. In Zell am See-Kaprun there are various offers for pony riding so that even the very youngest can feel the special feeling that emanates from these noble animals.
Walk with the pony on holiday
It doesn't always have to be the typical riding in the saddle - a walk with the pony can be just as much fun. Moreover, the beautiful landscape in Zell am See and Kaprun is ideal for a short hike with the pony on a leash. Explore the surrounding paths with Pony Bruno over wide meadows, through clear streams and through dark green forests - either alone or guided by one of our staff members.
Special pony riding offers in Zell am See-Kaprun
When riding ponies on holiday at the Edelweiss estate, even the youngest ones from about 2-3 years learn the correct handling of the horse. Riding lessons take place either on the lunge or in the quadrangle for older children who can already ride freely
We are very happy to be able to offer our guests vaulting as well as lungeing during their holiday with us. With this special combination of riding and artistic gymnastics, gymnastic and gymnastic exercises are performed on horseback. This trains coordination, concentration, condition and balance. Children from the age of 3-4 can learn vaulting. Through age-appropriate exercises and appropriate preparation during dry training on a wooden gymnastics horse, the little ones are introduced to this demanding form of pony riding.
More than just pony riding
On holiday at the Edelweiss estate, children not only learn how to ride a horse, but also how to handle it correctly. Our riding instructor Vicky shows the little ones with a lot of fun and empathy how the pony is cared for, cleaned, groomed and fed. And of course, how to show the pony affection, how to stroke it and how to cuddle with it.
Our two school ponies Bruno and Mister are the perfect companions for pony riding on vacation in Zell am See-Kaprun. They are kind and patient - the ideal combination to introduce the little ones to the fascinating world of riding.
